Welcome back to my Disneyland Paris trip blog! These are the last two days together for you!
On day 3 we had breakfast in our hotel again and set off earlier to avoid the longer queues for the security line of the previous day. There are other places available for breakfast, but the hotel is so convenient and opens in plenty of time to eat and still be ready for park Extra Magic hours.

Today we started at Walt Disney Studios Park for early entry. Most people who come to this park first will head to Crush’s Coaster first thing. This is a fast, spinning roller coaster in the dark themed as a turtle in the EAC from Finding Nemo.
The lines for this get very long during the day, and the Premier Access (fast pass) has only been available for this ride since 2022, so people have been used to either getting there first thing or waiting in long queues. As a ride, it is fun, but the theming does leave a little to be desired in my opinion. I’m still not really convinced it’s worth the wait!
There is also a single rider line for this ride, but as the seating in the ride vehicle is in 2s and the vast majority of groups are in even numbers, it doesn’t tend to go down very quickly.
Anyway, we did head for this ride first, but probably weren’t quick enough as by the time we got in the wait time was a full hour. We decided not to do this as it would waste all of Extra Magic time, so we chose to use Premier Access on it later and went on Ratatouille instead. This is a lovely fun family ride, where you shrink down to the size of a rat! It used to be 3D, but it no longer is, but that hasn’t taken away any of the magic.
Next up we headed into Avengers Campus to get on those rides, which include Spider-Man WEB Adventure – on this ride you have to channel your inner Spidey and actually shoot webs at Spider-Bots! It’s great fun, but my arms are always aching afterwards! I’ll have to practice my THWIP! And then Avengers Assemble: Flight Force, which is a looping coaster (if you ever rode Rock n Roller Coaster, it’s the same ride track, but with a really cool Captain Marvel/Iron Man re-theme) and this one has a photo at the end.

We did use the Single Rider line for this which cut down our wait time by a good 25 minutes. If you’ve never used Single Rider before, it can be really useful for cutting down wait times but, unless you’re very lucky, if you’re in a group, you will all be split up, so it’s not recommended for families with younger children.
In Avengers Campus, the Marvel characters don’t have set times for their appearances, but you can usually tell when they are about to appear as they are heralded by some pretty loud theme music.
Some of the characters you can expect to see in and around the Campus are: Spider-Man, Ant-Man, The Wasp, Thor and Loki, the Guardians of the Galaxy (mostly just Star Lord and Gamora,) the Scarlet Witch, Captain Marvel, Iron Man, Black Panther and Captain America. However, it’s important to note that these can change throughout the year and sometimes depending on if their films or shows are out in the cinema or on Disney+ !

For example, a more recent addition was an evening show called Doctor Strange : Mystery of the Mystics” featuring Doctor Strange the Scarlet Witch and Agatha Harkness off the back of the recent successes of WandaVision and Agatha All Along on Disney+ (both BRILLIANT by the way, if you haven’t seen them.) We actually came back to see that show later on in the evening. I only managed to get one decent(ish) picture of Agatha, but the show was great!

If you want some set time with a superhero, you can book a session (it’s free) as you enter Walt Disney Studios Park in the morning. You’re essentially entering a virtual queue and when your time rolls around you can get some one on one time with Spidey or whichever other hero is on duty that day. You will also be able to get some more photos to add to your PhotoPass.
We also had a little snack and a ride on Tower of Terror! Always a favourite! However, we did use Premier Access for this ride too as the lines were very long. (At one point this week, we saw this line up to 185 minutes!)

A little note here on Premier Access. The fast passes or skip the line tickets are different at different Disney Parks. They work differently too and are often changing. At Disneyland Paris, they have two types. Premier Access One is available per ride. You select your ride in the app and you get the next available time OR you can purchase Premier Ultimate Access, which is a per day price, and this allows you to skip-the-line once at all the rides in both parks that have this access.
This can be a great option if you don’t have much time or even if you just really don’t like standing in long queues, but it does come at a price, starting at 90 euros per person depending on the day. If this is something you definitely know that you want, it can also pre-booked with me when you book your trip.
TIP: If you or any member or your family have any access or disability needs, Disneyland Paris cater really well for this and I would definitely mention this during your enquiry so I can direct you.
We also did some park hopping which is included in the ticket, and popped over to Disneyland Park to see the Lion King: Rhythm of the Pride Lands show, which is beautiful and well worth a watch. The queues can get pretty big, but there isn’t really a bad view if you’re one of the last ones in!

After this we headed back for our late lunch at PYM Kitchen. This is the table service restaurant in Avengers Campus. It’s a buffet, and some of the food is either extra large like the giant burger or extra small (like mini sliders) because of the Pym Particles of course!! Also every table gets a giant – sorry, a Quantum – pretzel!!
Again this meal is included on the half and full board meal plans if you choose to eat here. It was a really good meal and we ate enough that we wouldn’t need dinner later!
The other fun thing is the glassware in here – test tubes, beakers, lots of science lab stuff! And be sure to have a look at all the pictures on the walls! Somehow I didn’t get many pictures – too busy eating!

After lunch, we went back to the Disneyland Park (you get a lot of steps in on a Disneyland Paris trip!) and caught the Parade! We waited in the main Town Square – not in my usual spot, but good enough to get some great pics, and a wave from Rapunzel!

As this was our last full day, we went back into the other park again to catch the Doctor Strange show (see above!) and then all seven of us met up for some nice cocktails in the hotel’s bar, the Skyline Bar, followed by packing and a relatively early night!
The Skyline Bar is a lovely NYC themed bar with a view of the literal skyline, including the Avengers Tower. Every so often, you might see a hero or two swing or fly into view too! They have an pretty good cocktail range and also a regular bar and it’s definitely worth stopping in for a drink or two!

On the last day we had a later start as we had booked into the Superhero Station, a perk which is exclusive to the hotel! The superhero you get to meet changes, we got to meet Black Widow which was cool and Star Lord came in just after we left.
We had a nice long chat with Black Widow all about our trip, had some PhotoPass photos taken and then there are some other fun photo ops which you can take with your own phone.

Then it was time to check out, and the Hotel New York: the Art of Marvel hotel lets you leave your luggage in the room and they will bring it down for you, which is great! No lugging cases about.
This last day was very cold, and we didn’t have much on the agenda. It was quite crowded in the parks too, so we rode some rides, including the lovely Carousel and Le Pays des Contes de Fées (Land of Fairy Tales) which is a boat ride through miniature Disney and Pixar kingdoms, before we went to get our lunch in Cafe Hyperion.

This used to be used for stage shows, and I think when dance groups come they still use this stage too, but for now it is just a really huge place to sit, eat food and watch Disney cartoons. It was SO cold today, so we hung out in here for quite a while. The burgers in here are absolutely delicious though, so we used mobile order, and got meal deals each. This restaurant is included in the meal plans, but it’s very good value anyway. We stayed in here for a while, then Claire and I dipped out to meet the Mandalorian! He didn’t have Grogu with him sadly. But it was still cool!

And then all of a sudden it was time to go back to our hotel and get ready to leave 😦
We collected our bags and then waited for the Magical Shuttle back to the airport. We left in plenty of time which was good because the buses were quite full and Charles de Gaulle airport is just massive.
And that was pretty much it! This was a pretty quite visit for Claire and I. We’ve definitely packed way more in before, but as this was a bigger group and the weather was a little bit more prohibitive, it was nice to take it a bit slower!
I love Disneyland Paris, and if it’s somewhere you’d like to go, there are some really fun things coming for 2025, such as the Music Festival that’s going to be there all over the summer!
Get in touch today if you’d like to book your own magical Disneyland Paris trip or to anywhere else! I’m here to help!
